Susan Acquista is an experienced legal professional specializing in intellectual property disputes, currently serving as Of Counsel for DLA Piper since September 2010. With a strong background in litigating complex cases related to patent infringement, false advertising, and trademark issues, Susan is also a dedicated volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate for Voices for Children, Inc. since August 2015, advocating for children in the dependency court system. Prior to DLA Piper, Susan was an Associate at Hogan Lovells focusing on commercial litigation and patent issues, and held a law clerk position at Glynn & Finley. Susan holds a JD from the University of California, Davis - School of Law and a BA in Global Studies from UC Santa Barbara.
