Josh Howton has worked in various roles throughout their career. Josh started in 2006 as a Systems Engineer at Optimization Technologies, Inc., where they worked until 2012. During this time, they also briefly worked as a Sales Engineer at WinEstimator. From 2012 to 2015, they returned to Optimization Technologies, Inc. as a Systems Engineer. Josh then joined Base2 Solutions in 2015, where they served as a Senior Systems Engineer and Team Lead until 2021. Josh then worked at Boeing as a Systems Design & Integration Specialist from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they are employed at Volant Partners, Inc. as an Advisory Systems Engineer.
Josh Howton attended Hermiston High School from 1988 to 1991. After completing their high school education, they went on to Oregon State University from 1991 to 1996. At Oregon State University, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. In addition to their formal education, Josh also obtained two certifications: "Embracing Unexpected Change" from LinkedIn in April 2020 and "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" from LinkedIn in April 2020.
