Alexander Hunt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Alexander began their career as a Mobile Maintenance Summer Student at BHP Billiton in 2011. In 2012, they served as a Reliability Engineering Summer Student at the same company. Following this, they worked as a Mechanical Summer Student at Williams Engineering Canada Inc. in 2013. Alexander gained research experience at the University of Alberta, working as a Research Assistant from January 2017 to May 2017, and as a Staff Research Engineer from May 2017 to July 2018. Alexander then joined Volant Products Inc. as a Junior Project Engineer in Product Development from July 2018 to April 2022. Alexander further expanded their engineering expertise at C-FER Technologies, working as a Research Engineer from April 2022 to October 2022. Alexander has returned to Volant Products Inc. in November 2022 as a Project Engineer in Product Development.

Alexander Hunt obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta from 2010 to 2014. In 2013, they also took a course in Renewable Energy at TU Bergakademie Freiberg. Alexander Hunt has additional certifications, including a Python Project for Data Science from Coursera obtained in May 2021. Alexander is also registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) with The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). Furthermore, they have completed courses in Python for Data Science, AI & Development from Coursera and obtained the SOLIDWORKS CSWA certification from Dassault Systèmes.
