Morten Pahle

Morten Pahle is a seasoned professional in the space insurance industry, currently serving as Managing Director of Aesir Space at Volante Global since November 2018, where Morten oversees the development of risk transfer solutions tailored to a wide range of space applications. Prior to this role, Morten was the Managing Director at ViVet Limited from March 2012 to November 2018, where responsibilities included establishing a technology Managing General Agent and securing regulatory approvals and funding. Morten's experience also encompasses positions as UK Branch Manager and Senior Space Underwriter at Glacier Insurance, where oversight of various lines of business was provided, as well as a Group Risk and Insurance Manager role at EADS Astrium. Morten's foundational experience includes working as a Space Underwriter at Assicurazioni Generali and as a Consultant at DNV Consulting, focusing on risk assessments for prestigious projects. Morten holds an M.Sc. in Quality Improvement & System Reliability from City, University of London, and a B. Eng. in Aeronautical Engineering from The University of Salford.
