Dan Pilling

Dan Pilling is an Executive Advisor at Volante Technologies, where responsibilities include providing cloud payments and digital transformation solutions to a global clientele. As a self-employed Payments and Financial Crime Expert since August 2022, Dan brings over 30 years of banking industry experience, specializing in Payments and Financial Crime strategy and complex transformation programs. Prior to this, Dan served as the Global Payments Technology Chief Information Officer at Barclays from January 2013 to July 2022, and held positions such as Head of Business Architecture and Strategy, as well as Head of Requirements and Functional Design in the Payments sector at Barclays Corporate. Dan Pilling holds a BA Hons in Politics and Economics from Newcastle University.
