Markus Byström

Markus Byström has a diverse work experience that spans a variety of industries and roles. Markus began their career as a Deputy Regional Manager and Board Member for the Swedish Young Shareholders' Association. Markus then worked as a Logistics Management Intern for Prismalence AB and a Summer Logistics Intern for ABB. Markus also gained experience as a Business Development Intern for Suitsupply and a Sales Associate for Hilti Group. Markus conducted their Master's thesis on financial communication at Spotlight Stock Market, where they also worked as an Analyst in Market Surveillance. Markus then joined Deloitte as an Analyst in Financial Advisory M&A, specializing in due diligence and integration support. Markus served as a Board Member for the Regional Board of Stockholm with Aktiespararna and as a Board Member for housing cooperatives in Stockholm with HSB Stockholm. Currently, Markus is the Head of Business Development for Business Unit S:t Eriks at Volati AB, leading a team and reporting to the Sales Director and CEO.

Markus Byström's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University, which they obtained from 2013 to 2017. Markus also pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Industrial Engineering and Management from the same university from 2018 to 2020. In addition, they attended SUNY New Paltz in 2018 for an International Business Program. Markus completed courses in Business Administration and Law at Mid Sweden University from 2016 to 2018. Markus Byström also participated in a summer course in English at EF International Language Campuses in 2014 and received military training from the Swedish Armed Forces in 2016. Furthermore, they completed a Leadership program at the Swedish Defence University in 2024.
