Joshua Walden has had a diverse career in the aviation industry. In 2010, they began their career as a Prop and Rotor NCO in the Arizona Army National Guard. In 2014, they became a Citation CJ SIC for SWPS LLC as a Contract Pilot, Part 91. In 2016, they became a Pilot for Compass Airlines, where they acted as PIC with line flying serving American and Delta regional routes. In 2019, they took on the role of RJ Simulator Instructor at Arizona State University, providing realistic and hands on 121 Advanced Qualification Program Style training to ASUs 141 Aviation Majors. In 2020, they became a Pilot for Guardian Flight, LLC. In 2021, they became a Pilot for Jet It. Finally, in 2022, they took on the role of Assistant Chief Pilot for Volato, a supervisory role conducting review of rest and duty logs, training review, scheduling, legality and operational issues unique to a 135 Fractional and charter organization. Joshua is currently overseeing 55 pilots.
Joshua Walden has a diverse educational background. Joshua attended Ironwood Ridge High school from 2003 to 2007. Joshua then attended Pima Community College from 2008 to 2011 and obtained an Associate of Science (AS) in Criminology. Following that, they attended the United States Army Aviation and Logistics School (USAALS) from 2010 to 2011, where they earned a Military Occupational Specialty. Joshua then attended Liberty University from 2018 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General. Most recently, they attended Liberty University from 2020 to 2021, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) in Aviation Safety. In addition, they have obtained three certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration: a HondaJet Type Rating (2021), an Airline Transport Pilot License, AMEL EMB170/190 (2016), and a CE525 Family Type Rating (2015).
