Richard Nasmith is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in sales and marketing across various high-tech industries, particularly within geospatial technology and data services. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Volatus Aerospace since December 2024, Richard previously held senior leadership roles at Aethon Aerial and RME Geomatics, where Richard successfully directed sales and marketing efforts, including the management of LiDAR and imagery services. Richard's career also includes significant positions at Ashlar Consulting, ShapeGrabber Incorporated, KOM Networks, and AmberCore Software, where strategic transitions and growth initiatives were executed. As a former President of the Geomatics Industry Association of Canada and Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Institute of Geomatics, Richard has demonstrated leadership in advocating for the geospatial sector. Richard's educational background is comprehensive, with studies completed at multiple prestigious institutions, including Carleton University and Harvard Business School.
