Tim Scharrer

Tim Scharrer holds extensive experience in the coffee trading industry, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Regional Director for Europe and North America at Volcafe since February 2023. Prior to this role, Tim was with Starbucks Coffee Trading Co Sarl from November 2007 to December 2022, where positions included Vice President of Coffee & Cocoa and Managing Director. Tim's career also encompasses roles such as Vice President of Trading & Operations and Director of Trading & Operations at Starbucks. Earlier experience includes working as a Coffee Trader at Coffy Handels-Gesellschaft Bremen mbH and as a Green Coffee Trader at COEX Coffee International, Inc. Additionally, Tim served in various capacities including Commercial Manager and Quality Manager at Carcafe Ltda, and began the career as a Trainee at PNG Coffee Exports Ltd.
