Diego Barragan, MBA

Diego Barragan, MBA, has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Diego currently serves as the Director of Operations at Voler Strategic Advisors since 2018. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as an Independent Consultant. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief of Staff at the City of San Jose - Council District 4 from 2014 to 2015. During their tenure, they successfully handled administrative matters, managed budgets, and engaged with community groups and officials. Before that, they served as the Council Policy and Legislative Director at the same company from 2010 to 2014, where they led staff in budget analysis, communication functions, and community engagement efforts. Diego also held the role of San Jose Chapter President at the National Society of Hispanic MBAs from 2010 to 2014. Furthermore, Diego gained experience as a Field Organizer for Inez Tenenbaum for US Senate in 2004, as a Field Representative for California State Assembly - Assembly member Manny Diaz in 2004, and as an Intern for U.S. House of Representatives - Congressman Mike Honda in 2003. Overall, Diego has a diverse and extensive background in leadership, operations, consulting, and community engagement.

Diego obtained their MBA from Santa Clara University - Leavey School of Business, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General. Diego completed their MBA program from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from San Jose State University, which they attended from 1999 to 2004.
