Pierluigi Gaeta

Pierluigi Gaeta has a extensive work experience in the wine and spirits industry. Pierluigi began their career at Winebow in 2001 as a District Sales Manager, managing a diverse portfolio of wines and spirits from various regions. In 2011, they joined Vias Imports Ltd as a District Sales Manager, responsible for the Florida and Georgia territories. Pierluigi worked in this role until 2020. From 2021 to 2023, Pierluigi served as an Area Manager and Italian Fine Wine Ambassador at Taub Family Selections, covering the Southeast region. Currently, they hold the position of Regional Sales Director for Florida at Volio Imports as of March 2023.

Pierluigi Gaeta obtained an Associate's degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the Hotel & Hospitality School in Salerno, Italy, from 1987 to 1990. Following that, they pursued an Associate's degree in Business & Hospitality Management from an unidentified institution in Salerno, Italy, from 1990 to 1992. In addition to their formal education, Pierluigi Gaeta also obtained a Certified Sommelier Certificate from the Guild of Master Sommeliers in April 2000 and an A.M.I.R.A. certification from the Italian Maître d'hôtel Association in January 1996.
