Hans-Christian Heidecke

Hans-Christian Heidecke has extensive work experience in the automotive industry, particularly with Volkswagen. Hans-Christian started their career in 1993, working as an Operational Manager at Schlumberger. Hans-Christian then joined Fraunhofer IPA as a Consultant in 1996 and moved to gedas gmbh in 1997, where they also worked as a Consultant. In 2000, they joined Volkswagen AG as a Project Manager, and later took on roles as Subdivision Manager and Division Manager. In 2014, they joined Volkswagen Slovakia as a CIO, and in 2018, they moved to Volkswagen Sachsen Gmbh as the CIO. Currently, since November 2021, they hold the position of CIO / CDO at Volkswagen Group South Africa.

Hans-Christian Heidecke holds a Dipl. Ing. degree from the University Rostock and a Dipl.-Wirt. Ing degree from Fachhochschule Wedel. Hans-Christian also attended the International Business School Zurich, though the degree obtained is not specified.
