Ricci Birchfield has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Starting in 2006 as a Graduate Trainee at Volkswagen Group South Africa, Ricci gained valuable skills in database administration. In 2007, Ricci joined Audi South Africa as a Brand Co-ordinator and later moved to Audi Singapore as a Marketing Manager in 2009. Returning to Audi South Africa in 2011, Ricci took on roles as a Brand Manager and then as a Digitalization Manager. In 2018, Ricci transitioned to AUDI AG, holding positions as the Head of Digital Business UX Design and later as the Head of Digital Business Planning and Market Relations. Currently, Ricci is working at Volkswagen Group South Africa as the Head of Technology and Business Strategy.
Ricci Birchfield has a strong educational background with a focus on marketing. In 2005, they obtained an Honours degree in Marketing Communications from the University of Pretoria. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2004, Ricci studied Marketing Management at the same university. Their education journey began at Michaelhouse from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained an IEB Matric. Additionally, Ricci has obtained a certification in Verified International Academic Qualifications from the World Education Services in 2021.
