Lars Wewerinke

Lars Wewerinke has a diverse work experience in various roles within the Volkswagen group. Lars started their career in 2008 at Volkswagen AG as a Junior Sales Manager and later worked as a Trainee Program Start-Up Direct, Regional Sales Coordination Manager, Senior Sales Manager (France and Portugal), and Senior Project Manager. In 2014, they moved to Volkswagen Financial Services, where they served as the Head of Business Development, focusing on supporting the VW Group brands in reaching their volume targets and developing new mobility solutions and fleet management strategies. From 2017 to 2022, Lars worked at Volkswagen Financial Services - México, first as the Head of Business Engineering, where they played a key role in the company's transition towards a new digitized business model, and later as the Chief Information Officer. Throughout their career, Lars has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, business analysis, product development, and market intelligence.

Lars Wewerinke pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from FH Gelsenkirchen, from 2002 to 2008. In 2023, they attended IPADE Business School to specialize in Corporate Management & Leadership.
