Dr. Niels Bosse is an accomplished human resources leader with extensive experience in various roles within the Volkswagen Group. Currently serving as Chief Human Resources Officer for Volkswagen Group Retail Deutschland since November 2024, Dr. Bosse has held similar positions at Elli and Audi México. Dr. Bosse began the career at Volkswagen AG and progressed through various HR roles, including Senior Director HR and Admin at Volkswagen Group China and Director HR and Admin at Volkswagen Financial Services (China). Additional expertise includes HR strategy development and management roles in HR controlling and labor relations. Educational achievements include a doctorate in economics and a qualification as a business lawyer, along with a position as a Honorar Professor at Leuphana University of Lüneburg.

VGRD GmbH (Volkswagen Group Retail Germany) is the automotive retail group of the Volkswagen Group and comprises more than 100 dealerships. We offer the entire range of new vehicles, used cars as well as workshop and services for the Group brands Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Audi, SEAT, SKODA, Porsche and Lamborghini. We are Germany's largest automotive retail group. Our dealerships are located in the metropolitan regions of Hamburg, Hannover, Berlin, Leipzig/Chemnitz, Frankfurt am Main, Rhein-Neckar, Stuttgart, Ulm, Augsburg as well as in and around Munich. With more than 8,750 employees, we sell more than 180,000 new and used cars every year. In the VGRD we focus on innovative strength and digitalization. In our subsidiaries, innovative and customer-focused solutions for the automotive retail are developed and successfully introduced together with the Volkswagen Group.
