Ali Mercan

Ali Mercan 阿里 currently holds the position of Error & Vehicle Test Management at Volkswagen Group since February 2023, following a role as Vehicle Test Manager for the Volkswagen-Ford-Alliance. Prior to this, Ali Mercan served as Team Manager at Bertrandt Group from April 2018 to January 2023, overseeing locations in Berlin and Magdeburg with a focus on electromobility, software development, virtual testing environments, and autonomous driving. Ali Mercan has extensive experience in engineering and leadership, having held roles such as Lead Engineer and Development Engineer in eMobility, managing large teams and enhancing customer satisfaction. Additionally, Ali Mercan has contributed to Toastmasters International as an Area Director and in various club roles emphasizing communication and leadership skills. Education includes a Master of Science in Real Estate Management at Technische Universität Berlin and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. An international exchange experience at Tongji University broadened Ali Mercan's cultural perspective.
