Helena MacHkova

Helena Machkova is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in governance, risk management, and legal compliance. Currently serving as the Head of DCO Group Technology at Volkswagen AG since September 2022, Helena also holds the position of Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance at ŠKODA AUTO a.s. since July 2011, where responsibilities include establishing and leading the Risk Management and Compliance unit. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Legal Counsel in Legal & Compliance at Nokia Siemens Networks from April 2007 to June 2011, providing legal support at Siemens from September 2001 to March 2007, and managing legal and contracts at Lucent Technologies between February 1999 and August 2001. Helena holds a JUDr. in Law from Charles University and a Master's in Contract Management from The George Washington University.
