Olaf Katzer

Olaf Katzer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the automotive and education sectors. Currently serving as a Manager at Volkswagen Group since September 2024, Olaf previously held the position of Leiter Bildung at Autostadt GmbH from August 2019 to November 2024. Prior to this, Olaf was Geschäftsführer at Deutsche Messe Technology Academy from September 2009 to August 2021. With a long tenure at Volkswagen AG from November 1998 to August 2019, Olaf oversaw various roles focusing on training and development, including Leiter Weiterbildung Digitales Lernen and Leiter Strategie Aus- und Weiterbildung. Olaf holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Werkstoff- und Fertigungstechnik from Technische Universität Clausthal, completed in 1998.
