Sang Won Lee

Sang Won Lee is an experienced automotive exterior designer currently working at Volkswagen of America, Inc. since October 2020, contributing to projects at the Volkswagen Design Center California. Prior experience includes an exterior design internship at Volvo Cars, where responsibilities involved sketching, Photoshop rendering, and developing design proposals using Alias CAD. Previous roles also include a vehicle design internship at Tesla, focused on production and content creation, and an exterior design internship at Hyundai Kia America Technical Center, where collaboration on brand-specific projects was key. Additionally, an early internship at Daniel Simon Studio provided experience in concept development and client design tasks. Sang Won Lee holds a Bachelor's degree in transportation design from ArtCenter College of Design, completed in 2020.
