Alan Ahac

Director Of International Events at Volleyball Canada

Alan Ahac has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and positions. Alan worked as the Director of International Events at Volleyball Canada starting in 2015. Prior to this role, they were a Systems Strategy Consultant for various companies. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a self-employed consultant. Before that, they held various positions at ESI Integrity Inc., including President and Vice President of Business Development. Alan also served as a member of the Board of Administration at the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) from 1992 to 2002. Alan Ahac was also the President of Volleyball Canada from 1991 to 2000. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Software Development Manager at Riptide Technology, VP of Business Development at Mercury Scheduling Systems Inc., and as a Project Engineer at MacDonald Dettwiler.

Alan Ahac completed a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Math and Computer Science from the University of Victoria from 1980 to 1983. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the same university from 1983 to 1985.
