Toni Vilar

Toni Vilar has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Toni started off as an Electrónico/Electricista at BCB S.A. in 1997 before transitioning to a Supervisor role at SAINCO (Grupo Avengoa) in 1998. In 2000, they became the Responsable del departamento de programación at Precision Consulting until 2006. From there, they served as an Analista at Mutua de Propietarios and later as a Consultor at Matchmind until 2010. Toni then joined Vueling Airlines as an Analista, where they were responsible for analysis, architecture, and application development, among other tasks. In 2010, they moved to NTRglobal as a Release Manager. In 2012, Toni became a Software IT Architect at Newshore, and then continued their career at GOOGLING BCN as a Software IT Architect & DevOps Manager, supporting Volotea. Finally, in 2018, they assumed the role of Head of Software Engineering at Volotea.

Toni Vilar attended Universidad Politécnica de Vilanova i la Geltrú from 1993 to 1997, where they studied Telecomunicaciones and obtained a degree in Sistemas Electrónicos. They also recently obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in 2022.
