Marcin Szulc has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Marcin started their career as a Web Developer at Szarekomórki, where they created web applications for individual clients and contributed to the development of a CMS platform. Marcin then worked as a Software Engineer at Flaber Ltd and later joined Azimo, where they held multiple roles. At Azimo, they worked as a Software Engineer, leading business-critical projects, implementing new features, and managing cash payout partner APIs. Marcin also transitioned to the role of Android/Software Engineer, where they worked on designing and implementing screens, utilizing Facebook API, RxJava, Gradle, and data encryption. During their time at Azimo, the company shifted from a monolith to a microservice architecture, and Marcin played a key role in this transition. Most recently, Marcin worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Papaya Global and is currently employed as a Senior Java Software Engineer at Volt.io.
Marcin Szulc completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Uniwersytet Kazimierza Wielkiego, attending from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained several certifications. In January 2019, they completed the "Techniques of Practical Improvisation" course offered by Michał Mącznik. Furthermore, in May 2016, they received a certification in "Security of Mobile Applications" from Niebezpiecznik.pl. Most recently, in April 2021, they obtained a certification in "Assertiveness at work" from BCB Szkolenia Coaching.
