Director of Human Resources at Volt Lighting

Kelley Wright, MBA has held various roles in human resources since 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Labor and Employment Law Assistant at Clark, Campbell, Mawhinney & Lancaster, P.A. During this time, they drafted, revised, and proofread HR policy and procedure handbooks and confidentiality agreements, as well as motions, orders, and settlement agreements. Kelley also assisted Fortune 500 corporations and smaller companies across the United States on litigation processes and provided strategic insights in arranging human resources policies for various Fortune 500 corporations.

In 2007, they moved to Constangy, Brooks & Smith, LLP as a Labor and Employment Law Assistant. In this role, they maintained direct involvement with clients, including HR representatives and managers, regarding employment law litigation, administrative, and HR-related concerns.

In 2009, they were hired as the Human Resources Manager at Colorado Boxed Beef / Ox Back Office Solutions, LLC. In this role, they provided payroll services for clients through CertiPay, including payroll processing, time clock services, deduction documentation, attendance tracking, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) request processing, and payroll deduction reconciliation for benefits. Kelley also liaised with Polk State College in acquiring training/development grant funds.

In 2011, Kelley worked as a Senior Human Resources Generalist at CLARIFIRE and as an Employee Relations Consultant (Contractor) at Coca-Cola Refreshments. At CLARIFIRE, they oversaw various HR plans and procedures while at Coca-Cola Refreshments, they took an instrumental role in assuming full ownership to assigned cases and tracking the escalated items’ status and progress in the case management system.

From 2013 to 2016, Kelley was the Director of Human Resources at The Estates at Carpenters, where they provided strategic direction and leadership in administration of HR programs and policies related to employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, compensation, regulatory compliance, recruitment strategies, staff development, and safety policies/procedures.

Most recently, from 2016 to 2022, Kelley was the People Operations Manager at Treatt, where they delivered HR leadership/support to global flavor, fragrance, and consumer goods company with focus on cultivating productive and engaged work environment consistent with recognized management principles and practices and company’s strategic vision.

Kelley is currently the Director of Human Resources at VOLT® Lighting, where they are responsible for driving the development and day to day execution of the Human Resources team while setting enterprise-wide HR strategies. Kelley is also responsible for maintaining a highly engaging culture, motivating employees, fostering an environment with elevated levels of teamwork, accountability, communication, and vision to employees.

Kelley Wright holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communications from the University of Colorado and a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from American InterContinental University.
