Denis completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, earning a B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering in 1996. Before their university education, Denis attended Brebeuf school for an unspecified period, with no specific degree mentioned. Denis also holds a certification as a Professional Engineer from Professional Engineers Ontario, although the exact date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
