Jon Strom

Jon Strom has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In their most recent position, they serve as the Chief Legal and Operating Officer at Volta Talent Strategies since August 2022. Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder and Chief Legal Officer at Thine, an affiliate of Volta, from February 2018 to April 2023. Jon also worked as the Director of Product Development at Volta Talent Strategies from August 2017 to February 2018, where they developed career management tools for lawyers. Before that, they served as the Corporate Training Manager at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP from September 2015 to August 2017, managing training programs for corporate associates. Prior to that, they worked as a Corporate Associate in the M&A and Public Company Advisory Practice at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP from October 2007 to January 2013. Jon also has experience as a Summer Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and Stikeman Elliott LLP, as well as an Equity Research Analyst at Mentor Partners and a Summer Intern at the Office of US Senator Daniel P. Moynihan.

Jon Strom completed their education with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Cornell Law School, where they graduated with honors (cum laude) in 2007. During their time at Cornell, they specialized in Law with a Certificate in Business Law and Regulation. Prior to this, Jon attended Princeton University where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (AB) degree in History, graduating in 2001. Jon also had the opportunity to study abroad at the Central European University for one semester in 2006, focusing on Law. Additionally, Jon obtained certification as a Member of the New York State Bar, granted by the New York State Courts, although the specific date when this certification was obtained is not provided.
