Darren Parsons Miet

Darren Parsons MIET has over 30 years of work experience in the automotive industry. Darren started as an Apprentice Patternmaker at Rover Group in 1991 and progressed to becoming a Project Engineer focusing on press tool design. Darren moved on to BMW Group in 1999, working as a Project Engineer in cost reduction and product/process planning. In 2004, they joined Honda of the UK Manufacturing Ltd., where they held roles in product engineering for body, exterior, and interior, eventually becoming a Section Manager. Most recently, they worked at Volta Trucks as a Lead Manufacturing Engineer and later as Principal Manufacturing Engineer.

Darren Parsons MIET attended Coventry College from 1991 to 1996, where they studied Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Operational Excellence Foundations, The Eight Essential People Skills for Project Management, and Gemba Kaizen through LinkedIn in 2020 and 2021.
