Niklas Kerssenfischer

Niklas Kerssenfischer is an experienced engineer specializing in CAD with a focus on mechanical development for automotive high-voltage storage systems at Voltavision GmbH since January 2017. Responsibilities include product development from design to mass production, as well as creating manufacturing documentation. Prior to this role, Niklas served as a project leader and CAD development engineer overseeing a major project involving test equipment for a cell technology center. Co-founding maraneo GmbH, Niklas developed electric drive systems for underwater sports, achieving an innovative body-mounted scooter. Niklas was also a beneficiary of the EXIST Gründerstipendium, supporting the creation of a powerful propulsion system for divers and snorkelers. Academic experience includes working as a scientific assistant at Bochum University of Applied Sciences, contributing to the development of an electric small transport vehicle, and completing a distinguished bachelor's thesis on an integrated hub motor for the same project. Niklas holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Bochum University.
