Lucas Weiss

Lucas Weiss is a highly experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the General Director and Technical Director at VOLTEC SOLAR since April 2010, where responsibilities include procurement and research and development. Additionally, Lucas Weiss holds the position of President of the "Industry, Technologies, and R&D" division of the solar commission SER-SOLER and is a board member of the European Solar Manufacturing Council since May 2019. Previous roles include scientific assistant positions at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems between 2006 and 2010. Lucas Weiss earned a PhD from INSA Lyon, completed an executive education program at Audencia, and has multiple degrees in materials, optical engineering, and nanotechnology from various institutions, including Université de Technologie de Troyes and Université de Technologie de Compiègne.
