Ben Graves

Ben Graves is an experienced music educator and musician, currently serving as Associate Professor of Music at Volunteer State Community College since August 2012, where responsibilities have included leading the Performing Arts department from 2016 to 2021. Graves has a diverse musical background, recognized as a "jazz rocker" by SFWeekly, with roots in various genres including soul, rock, country, and bluegrass. This experience includes serving as an Adjunct Professor at Tennessee State University and Solano Community College, along with contributing as a Music Analyst for Pandora during its early years. Graves holds a B.A. in Music from Wesleyan University and a Master of Arts in Music from Washington State University.
