Ian Carruthers

Ian Carruthers is the Engagement Manager at Volunteering Matters and also works as a Mindfulness Meditation teacher at Mubodywork. Ian is dedicated to offering free mindfulness meditation sessions to help individuals incorporate the practice into their daily lives. Additionally, Ian serves as a Health and Safety Representative at Unite the Union and as a Shiatsu practitioner at Mubodywork. With previous experience as an Employment Worker Volunteer manager at Shoots and Roots, Ian has a strong background in managing volunteers, delivering employment training, and placing young people into employment. Ian studied at the British School of Shiatsu-DO from 2009 to 2012.
