Paul Buddery

Director Of Strategy at Volunteering Matters

Paul Buddery has a diverse work experience in strategy, policy, and communications roles. Paul has previously worked as the Director of Strategy at Volunteering Matters and as a Senior Officer in Policy and Communications at the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS). From 2009 to 2016, they served as the Deputy Director of Public Services and Communities at The RSA, where they focused on public service reform and led research programs with various partners.

Paul Buddery obtained a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from the University of Southampton, graduating in 1986. Paul then pursued a Master's Degree in The Novel at the University of East Anglia from 1987 to 1988. Later, they attended Birkbeck, University of London, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Victorian literature from 1990 to 1998.
