Bianca Lopez

Bianca Lopez is an experienced social worker currently serving at Volunteers of America Delaware Valley since January 2017, where responsibilities include supervising Housing Coordinators and Care Coordinators, as well as conducting client interviews for diagnosis and treatment planning. In addition to a role as a Veteran Support Specialist, Bianca performs weekly case management, coordinates mental health and substance abuse assessments, and advocates for clients. Previously, Bianca worked as the Coordinator of Community Enhancement at Volunteers of America and completed a social work internship at Covenant House New Jersey. Early career experience includes serving as a Case Manager/Intern at the Nationality Services Center, providing support to refugees and victims of human trafficking. Bianca holds a Master’s degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, both from Rutgers University.

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley is the Greater Philadelphia regional affiliate of Volunteers of America, a national, faith-based nonprofit founded in 1896. Volunteers of America Delaware Valley is a professional human services organization that annually serves more than 11,000 men, women and children in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. We shelter homeless people and help them find permanent housing. We help people struggling with behavioral health issues or development disabilities. And we help ex-offenders re-enter their communities, reconcile with their families, and resume their working lives.
