Deena Duncan, LMFT, LAADC, ICADC has extensive experience in the field of addiction and mental health counseling. Prior to this, they held the position of Commission on Alcohol and Drugs at Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. Deena also served as the Director of Clinical Services at So Calif Alcohol & Drug Programs & Volunteers of America LA. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Mental Health Therapist at Anaheim Lighthouse and as an Admissions Coordinator/Mental Health/Addictions Counselor at Social Model Recovery Services. Deena Duncan also held leadership positions as the Director of Rehabilitation at The Salvation Army and as a Counselor at Harmony Place Treatment Center for Women. Deena started their professional journey as an Addictions Counselor at Southern California Alcohol and Drug Programs.
Deena Duncan, LMFT, LAADC, ICADC has a comprehensive education background in various areas related to counseling and therapy. Deena completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Development, Family Studies, and Related Services from Hope International University from 2001 to 2003. Deena then pursued a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hope International University, graduating in 2005. Additionally, they attended Cypress College from 1999 to 2001, specializing in Alcohol and Drug Studies.
