Persons and families dealing with aging frailty, homelessness, mental illness, substance abuse, physical and developmental disabilities as well as well as our friends and neighbors with limited financial resources thrive from personalized human services that ensure satisfaction and fulfillment. The Community and Housing Support team at Volunteers of America of Florida, Inc. is dedicated to providing comprehensive support services that promote stability and self-sufficiency among vulnerable populations. This team offers personalized assistance such as independent living coaching, housing coordination, case management, and support for veterans and individuals with limited financial resources. They also manage outreach efforts and community projects to ensure safe and decent housing, facilitate access to health and human services, and guide clients toward lifelong learning and societal contribution.
