David Holguin is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in counseling. Currently serving as a Military and Family Life Counselor at Fort Bliss and Washington Harris since October 2018, David provides no-cost, short-term counseling to military personnel and their families, focusing on coping with deployment-related stressors and reintegration. In addition, David has been the Clinical Director and Clinical Coordinator at Volunteers of America since August 2014, overseeing treatment programs and providing individual counseling to women and families in a residential setting for substance abuse recovery. David’s previous experience includes a role as a Producer for the San Antonio Express-News from 1997 to 2015 and as a Counselor/LPC Intern at the McCullough Center for Mental Health Services. David holds a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Development from the University of the Incarnate Word, along with an Associate's Degree in Art and Design from El Paso Community College.
