Clay Ervin

Clay Ervin has extensive experience in planning and project management, currently serving as the Director of Growth and Resource Management for the County of Volusia since June 2016. Prior to this role, Clay worked as the Director of Landscape Architecture & Planning at Zev Cohen and Associates, Inc., from April 2015 to June 2016, and as Planning Director at Lassiter Transportation Group from May 2011 to April 2015, where assistance was provided to clients on land planning and development issues. Clay's career also includes a role as Planning Director for the City of Ormond Beach from March 2002 to December 2008, overseeing the Planning and Building Divisions and managing long and short-range planning initiatives. Clay holds a BS/MS degree in Economic/Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University, earned between 1981 and 1985.
