Chris Seilkop, MBA has a diverse work experience in the YMCA industry. Starting in 1993 as a Program Director at West Volusia Family YMCA, they steadily progressed to become the Executive Director, Vice President of Operations, and eventually the Interim CEO. During their time at West Volusia Family YMCA, they played a key role in the merger with Greater Daytona YMCA, forming the Volusia Flagler YMCA while also overseeing the expansion of the DeLand Family YMCA.
In 2008, Chris joined Volusia Flagler YMCA as the Vice President and later became the Chief Operating Officer. In these roles, they implemented operation best practices leading to increased net margin, membership revenue, and program revenue. Chris also worked towards improving employee job satisfaction and member satisfaction, resulting in high ratings. Additionally, they played a vital role in the annual campaign and the implementation of new operational procedures.
In 2011, Chris became the President and CEO of YMCA of The Golden Crescent, where they managed multiple sites, including family centers, a pre-school, an LLC shopping plaza, and offsite city pools. Chris was responsible for overseeing a substantial budget and a staff of 228.
Most recently, Chris served as the President and CEO of Volusia Flagler Family YMCA, where they were responsible for delivering YMCA services across multiple centers and a resident camp, managing a significant budget and a large team. Chris focused on developing a strategic business model for revenue growth and successfully achieved positive operating margins.
Throughout their career, Chris Seilkop has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills and a track record of success in improving operational efficiency, employee satisfaction, and customer service in the YMCA industry.
Chris Seilkop earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Central Florida. Chris attended the university from 1990 to 1992.
