Jason Joyner

Jason Joyner has an extensive background in education and wellness, currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher at Volusia County School District since August 2021. Concurrently, Jason has been with Volusia Flagler Family YMCA since January 2011, holding various leadership roles including Senior Program Director of Membership & Wellness and Director of Members Services & Wellness Departments. Jason's career in wellness began in 2004 at Southside Virginia Family YMCA, progressing through multiple positions at different organizations, including American Family Fitness and YMCA of Greensboro - Spears. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Art in Exercise Sport Science and Music from Elon University, completing studies in 2004.
