Sven Lievens

Sven Lievens is an experienced logistics and quality assurance professional with a career spanning over three decades at Volvo Cars. Currently serving as a Logistics Project Manager at Volvo Cars Westport since September 2017, Sven has also held the position of Lean Material Coordinator at Volvo Cars Gent since July 2011, focusing on optimizing material processes. Previous roles include Logistic Engineer at VCG from September 2007 to June 2011, and various supervisory positions in the Supplier Quality Assurance and final assembly departments at Volvo Cars Gent, where Sven managed teams of blue-collar workers and oversaw IT system implementations for production. Sven holds a degree from Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven' in Gent, completed between 1988 and 2003.
