Emmanuel Gaborit

Emmanuel Gaborit is an experienced professional in the automotive and construction equipment industries, currently serving as the Head (VP) of Powertrain and Acting Head (Director) of Sustainable Power Systems at Volvo Construction Equipment since April 2022. In this dual role, Gaborit leads a team of over 100 employees in the development of combustion engines and fuel cells, focusing on achieving ambitious Science-Based Targets. Previously, Gaborit held various positions at Volvo Group, including Key Account Manager and Chief Project Manager, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing business opportunities and managing multicultural teams on engine development projects. Gaborit's career began at Cooper Standard Automotive, where Gaborit was instrumental in developing business opportunities in the Nordic markets for Volvo accounts. Gaborit holds a Master’s degree in Materials and Surface Treatments from Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Ingenieurs de Limoges.
