Muhammad Kashif

Muhammad Kashif is a highly experienced design engineer currently serving as the Lead Design Engineer at Volvo Group since August 2024. Prior to this role, Muhammad was a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in the Electrification unit at Epiroc, where successful projects included the development of the Battery Pack B6ST for Scoop Tram ST18 and achieving IP65 rating for electrical components. Muhammad's extensive background also includes significant contributions as a Project Mechanical Engineer at ABB AB, focusing on solid modeling for power transformers, and earlier roles as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Dellner Couplers and Gia Industri AB, specializing in CAD and design management. Muhammad began a career in design and development at Dawlance Group of Companies, working on the indigenization of machine molds. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from Jönköping University and additional courses in project management and Arabic language studies.
