Paul Illmer serves as the Vice President of Business Development & Strategy at Volvo Group, overseeing business development and market strategy for Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks, and UD Trucks in Australia. With a strong focus on integrating both internal combustion and alternative drive technologies for low carbon solutions, Paul also leads the integration of electric and hydrogen truck ranges within the dealer network and serves on the board of the Electric Vehicle Council. Previous roles include Vice President of Vehicle Sales Strategy & Support, where responsibilities included price management and sales strategy, and Brand Manager for product strategy across the brands. Paul has a proven track record in commercial launches, such as the New Volvo FH, and is dedicated to aligning product offerings with customer needs and market trends. Educated at the Australian Institute of Management, Paul is proud to lead a team of 20 professionals in support of Volvo Group's objectives.
