Peter Thorngren

Peter Thorngren is a seasoned technology and strategy leader with extensive experience in the electrical engineering domain, particularly within Volvo Group since May 2009. In various leadership roles, Peter has focused on verification, modeling, simulation, and test automation for distributed electrical systems, managing global teams from Sweden, France, and India to enhance electrical systems for Volvo Trucks and Renault Trucks. With a strong background in business development across multiple sectors—including telematics and embedded software—Peter has also founded and managed companies and contributed to process and tool development in previous roles at companies like HiQ and Teleca. Peter holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Lund University, complemented by a strong early professional foundation in technical project management and consulting.
