Moiz Talib has a strong work experience in procurement and sourcing. Moiz started their career as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at L&T Komatsu Ltd, where they underwent various training programs and worked on projects related to supply chain performance measurement and cost reduction. Moiz then transitioned to the role of Engineer Executive-Buyer, handling sheet metal commodities and focusing on cost reduction projects, business and vendor development, and import substitution.

After a few years with L&T Komatsu, Moiz joined Volvo Group as a Synergy Sourcing Buyer, responsible for re-sourcing to local Indian suppliers and supporting the purchasing activity between Volvo and Eicher for specific truck series. Moiz then moved on to become a Global Sourcing Buyer, managing sourcing activities for CNG systems, fuel tanks, air tanks, cab tilt, jacks, and winches for Volvo brands globally.

Moiz'sexperience at Volvo Group continued as a Senior Global Sourcing Buyer, where they handled frame rails, chassis assembly, steel and aluminum fuel tanks, and air tanks for Volvo brands in the APAC region. Moiz was also involved in creating supplier strategies, negotiating contracts, and implementing cost reduction initiatives.

Moiz then joined Volvo Trucks North America, first as a Senior Project Buyer, managing projects related to metallic piping, tanks systems, and other components. Moiz later took on the role of Lead Project Buyer, focusing on wheel end components and air valve management. Most recently, they have been serving as the Head of Cooling and Fluid Management NA, responsible for the complete cooling and fluid management of Volvo Trucks North America and leading a team of buyers.

Throughout their career, Moiz has demonstrated their ability to handle large spends, work with diverse cultures, lead cross-functional teams, and support current builds and new projects. Moiz has a strong focus on strategic supplier development and cost reduction.

Moiz Talib began their education at Cambridge School, where they studied Science and Maths from 1990 to 2002. After completing their school education, they attended Cathedral Composite PU College & High School from 2002 to 2004, where they pursued a Pre University College degree in Science. Following this, Moiz enrolled at B.M.S. College of Engineering from 2004 to 2008, majoring in Mechanical Engineering and obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering degree.

In addition to their formal education, Moiz Talib has also pursued various certifications. In 2008, they completed the Advanced Student Course on Mechanical Engineering at M.S. Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies in Bangalore. Later, in 2013, they undertook an Executive Development Course at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Pune. Moiz further expanded their skillset by earning a level 1 certification in Mandarin from Ni Hao Bangalore in June 2014.
