Nicole Makarevich

Nicole Makarevich is an Associate Engineer at Volvo Trucks North America, having joined the company in June 2023 as part of the Engineering Graduate Program. Prior experience includes serving as a Composites Team Member with Terps Racing, where involvement in the University of Maryland SAE Baja team focused on producing composite components. Nicole has also worked as an AFL Lab Technician at the University of Maryland's Terrapin Works, specializing in 3D printing technology. An internship with Volvo Group provided experience in manufacturing and technical preparation. Nicole's earlier roles included a position as a hostess at LINWOODS and a biochemistry summer internship at The Johns Hopkins University, contributing to research on targeted chemotherapy. Nicole completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland in May 2023, after earning a high school diploma from The Park School of Baltimore in June 2019.
