Currently serving as Lead Engineer for Climate HVAC Thermal Systems at Volvo Trucks North America since September 2021, Saeil previously held the position of Lead Engineer in Surface Treatment & Materials at Volvo Group Trucks Technology from August 2011 to September 2021. Early career experience includes working as a Powertrain Base Engine Engineer at Groupe Renault from February 2004 to February 2008, focusing on powertrain component design, lubrication, emissions, and engine performance. Saeil holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Nanotechnology from Texas A&M University, a Master's Degree in Turbomachinery from Seoul National University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Design from Korea Aerospace University.
