Matthew Ross

Matthew Ross is a Creative Technologist at VolvoxLabs, where tenure began in March 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew served as Adjunct Faculty at The New School, teaching a TouchDesigner and Creative Coding course to undergraduate students. Matthew's earlier experience includes working as an Associate Software Engineer at Disney Streaming Services, leading back-end development for MLB projects. Additionally, Matthew was a Data Engineer at Pivotal, Inc., working with major clients on distributed systems and cloud management. Matthew started a career in software development as an intern at Gust, creating a crowd-sourced data collection web application. Education includes a Master’s degree from New York University in the Interactive Telecommunications Program and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of Miami.
