Tannis has prior experience in social services, having worked as a Director of Social Services at Kindred Healthcare from 2015 to 2017. Before transitioning to the healthcare field, Tannis worked as an International Flight Attendant at United Airlines from 2005 to 2009 and as a Flight Attendant at ATA Airlines from 2002 to 2005.

Tannis L. T. holds a Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Walden University.
