Vinod Lala

Vinod Lala is the Chief Strategy Officer at Vonage. Vinod has over 25 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and corporate law.

Lala began their career as a corporate attorney at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. Vinod then moved to Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., where they worked as an Associate in their Mergers & Acquisitions department. In 1999, they joined Morgan Stanley as Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions and Restructuring.

Lala left Morgan Stanley in 2001 to join Deutsche Bank as Managing Director in their Mergers & Acquisitions, Communications, & Technology division. Vinod spent 13 years at Deutsche Bank before joining Guggenheim Partners in 2014 as Managing Director of their Cloud Technology division.

Lala has been with Vonage since 2016 and currently serves as their Chief Strategy Officer.

Vinod Lala attended Yale University, where they studied mechanical engineering and economics, and then went on to Harvard Law School to earn their Doctor of Law degree. Vinod is also certified by the New York State Bar Association.

They work with Randy Rutherford - Chief Legal Officer & Secretary, Sanjay Macwan - Chief Information Officer & Chief Information Security Officer, and Joy Corso - Chief Marketing Officer. Their manager is Rory Read, CEO.
