Matthias Feldt

Matthias Feldt has extensive experience in the field of VAT (Value Added Tax). Matthias started their career as a VAT Manager at thyssenkrupp in 1990 and eventually became the Head of the VAT group, overseeing VAT matters for approximately 180 German group companies. From 2003 to 2012, they held the position of Head of VAT group, managing a team of five VAT experts and providing VAT advice for business activities worldwide. In 2012, Feldt joined GE as the VAT Leader for the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region, and later expanded their responsibilities to include the CEE (Central and Eastern Europe) region. In this role, they handled all VAT-related matters, including advising on business activities, evaluating and structuring individual cases, and attending VAT audits. Since 2017, Feldt has been working as the Head of VAT at Vonovia.

Matthias Feldt obtained their Certified Tax Consultant (Steuerberater) degree from an unidentified school in the year 2002. In addition, they have obtained certifications as a Certified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) in 1992 and completed an apprenticeship in Office Administration (Industriekaufmann), although the specific year of completion is unknown.
